My marine artwork has been sought for a range of book and magazine publications in the UK, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand with some samples shown in this section. My maritime knowledge and skills in depicting historic sea battles of the Napoleonic era and my direct connection with Dartmoor Prisons Napoleonic history gave rise to paintings and illustrations in local and international publications. In New Zealand this has particularly developed in to publications depicting European and indigenous vessels engaged in trade, voyaging and discovery  over the Pacific Ocean and elsewhere.

Magazines such as the best British traditional boat magazine  ‘Classic Boat’ featured my work in April 1991leading to numerous commissions and interest to more recent publications such as the UK RNLI book the 'Salcombe Lifeboat disaster’ in 2015.

Short sea stories stories based on personal experiences from my Merchant Navy service have also been published leading to a larger project being prepared in 2019 to expand this genre with accompanying art.
